A Bit About Pascha
Pascha has been a licensed California attorney since 1996, practicing exclusively Family Law throughout her three decades of practice.
Pascha earned the distinction of becoming a Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS) from the State Bar of California over 20 years ago, solidifying her long-standing commitment and expertise in family law. Pascha is passionate about helping families skillfully navigate the divorce process with clarity and integrity.
After 15+ years as a courtroom litigator, handling hundreds of high-conflict divorce cases, Pascha transitioned her practice to mediation, collaborative divorce, and consultation services. In this capacity, Pascha has helped hundreds of couples resolve even the most complex matters out of court—guiding and empowering clients to find peaceful, lasting agreements.
Drawing on both her legal expertise and personal experience with divorce, Pascha is skilled in handled challenging divorce cases, complex financial issues, difficult custody matters and cases where trust between the parties has eroded. Her intuitive understanding of interpersonal dynamics allows her to build rapport with clients even in the most emotionally charged situations.
Pascha’s practice has recently expanded to include certified divorce coaching, divorce support groups, educational workshops, speaking engagements and divorce retreats.
Pascha was married and went through her own very difficult divorce in 2011. She has two wonderful young adult daughters who are the lights of her life. Pascha is happily remarried and has built an amazing next chapter, and firmly believes you can, too.

A Bit About Emily
Emily Trexel has been a licensed family law attorney for almost two decades. Prior to graduating law school in 2007, Emily was a police officer for the City of Mountain View, an experience that informs her calm and grounded presence in high-stress legal matters.
After law school, Emily began her legal career as an associate attorney with respected family law litigator Madeleine Boriss, gaining a strong foundation in handling complex family law cases and developing a deep understanding of family law practice. During those years, she was also a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, working to ensure that same-sex couples could marry and adopt with dignity and equality during a time when those rights were still uncertain.
In 2019, Emily was appointed as a Court Commissioner for the County of Santa Cruz, serving for two years as a judicial officer on the minor violations calendar. She presided over traffic infraction arraignments and trials, juvenile traffic cases, criminal infractions and misdemeanors, as well as family law calendars, as needed. This role enhanced her courtroom insight, deepened her understanding of the many individuals involved in legal matters, and sharpened her interest in mediation—particularly in family law.
Emily later served as Supervising Attorney for Senior Legal Services, a nonprofit that provides free legal help to older adults. There, she represented clients in matters related to housing, estate planning, elder abuse, and healthcare rights. Most recently, she worked with the DiBenedetto Law Group, a civil litigation firm dedicated to providing practical and effective solutions for a spectrum of legal disputes focusing on real estate, land use, business and construction matters.
Emily is delighted to return to family law as an associate mediator with Pascha Rose Law. She is dedicated to helping families navigate divorce and other life transitions with care, dignity, and practical guidance. Known for her warm, thoughtful, and steady professionalism, Emily supports clients in crafting respectful, lasting agreements tailored to their unique circumstances.
